(no subject)
i literally live with some of the wierdest people i have ever known.
today, one of my lodgers told me that she was doing a "performance" in the garden and she needed my lights to be turned off between 7 and 7.30. so i went into the garden at about 7.15 because it couldnt start at 7pm because the moon wasnt in the right place, and when i got outside there was about 7 strange people i had never seen before watching 2 girls (one of them my lodger) crouching next to a wall in my sunken patio with a projection of a wave on them. then they started doing some kind of dance which involved quite bizarre crouching movements, but all in total silence. then they moved up to the middle of the garden by the pond and sang in some strange language which i couldnt understand and played random notes on the flute, swished their hands over a circular mirror on the grass, sang a bit more then made us all walk up to the back of the garden where a lady appeared wearing a tiara and some medieval gown carrying a round piece of cloth on sticks and said stuff in the strange language, bit more dance and putting their hands in bowls of water and that was the end. and it was all dark and a man took photos and everyone said it was beautiful. but to me, it was a bit too much hippies dancing around round things. maybe i just didnt understand the spiritual side of it all, but i dont really mind that i didnt understand it because i am quite happy not being mentally fulfilled by the power of the moons rays on a round mirror with ladies swishing their hands over it. thanks!
other than that, had a brill day today, lay on the beach soaking up the sun then went to the park and sat in trees talking about sea creatures. great. sun makes me really happy sometimes. just had nice sausages too
