(no subject)
last night i went to the cafe with tristan and then we hung out in my car and i found a cd labeled 'assorted punk rock'
so, as is my habit, i have come to several realizations:
1. i still find tristan attractive, even though i don't want to date him anymore
2. i can listen to whatever music i want, regardless of who else does, and it wouldn't cause everyone to hate me, which i realized is what tristan and i have been doing for years, except we didnt have any friends to criticize our music tastes.
3. punk rock changed everyone's life, regardless of how embarassing that is to say.
4. nonsensenyc has been delivered to my junk mail folder for the past year, jsut another facet of the huge cosmic joke being played upon me.
5. the ataris still make me cry, especially the song san dimas high school football rules.
6. i will never stop obsessing over VU. ever. (and you probably won't either)
7. these are, with the exception of the nonsensenyc, all the exact same realizations i come to at least once a month.
