20th February - Babes in the wood, Skegby Parish Hall
Jeannie's panto, really glad I saw her in a show as it seems like it will be her last for a while. It was really good, some especially good scenes that made me laugh out loud. However all will agree a few too many pop songs sung fairly unenthusiastically !
26th February - Cabaret Twilight by In the Boat Theatre Company, Barnsley Civic Theatre
A great performance by adults with learning difficulties set in the wonderful cabaret twilight, great use of performance "beyond text". A great pace with some exciting moments, such as the fight or when the waiter cut off his arm (not literally..)!
2nd March - Polar Bear Club supported by Title Fight and The Shook Ones, Cockpit 2
Wow. One of the best gigs that I've been to in a long while. Two excellent support bands and an amazing performance by PBC to top it all off. Was glad t be down the front for once. Fun times.
