Junior year track has come to an end... am i really going to be a senior? this is just too werid
Gosh....
Time really is fast... i feel like it was just yesterday i was a freshman at the XC team pool party. Me and Jessica didn't know what to think.... we were like what are we doing here? not talking to anyone,really. I remeber we went swimming in the pool with these two other freshman girls. Who were they? Lauren and Emily. i had never heard of them before until just then. We talked and had fun in the pool getting to know eachother. I remeber Coach Calce getting us brownies. He was awsome. I remeber the first 3 weeks of cross-country with out the coaches. Me, Jmart and Jessica B. were the only girls who ran in the afternoon because we had summer school. It was just us and the seniors and a few others we got to know.........
Right now I am a junior.
Today was are last day of track practice and Coach smith talked to me,jessica, aimee and kim about how he wants us to recruit people to the xc team next year and that we have a meeting for xc next thrusday. It hit me then that as of now, basically, I am a senior. A leader on the Oak Park xc/track team.
Next year is gonna be awsomeeee. All of us junior girls are gonna be awsome next year =).
