Mom liked her Mother's Day present. Yay!
She had been wonking on about this loose-tea travel mug for the last couple of days, complaining that there were no more in stock at Chapters, so it was nice to see the big smile on her face when she opened it up this morning. She also recieved a picture frame of Leah that says "I love Grandma!" on the edge, and one of those fancy recordable cards from Hallmark. Again, I reign supreme as "favorite child". Mwahaha!
I watched 27 Dresses last night with Steph. It was cute, but I wasn't as impressed with it as I thought it would be. Then again, I find that I don't get as involved with movies if there are other people around-- I wonder if I would have enjoyed it more having watched it alone. It's nothing against the other people in the room, but I don't allow myself to cry as easily; almost like I put up a wall between me and the movie, when otherwise, the movie and I would just cuddle for two hours, and I would cry if I needed to. I'm a dork, nay?
I think we're going to walk over to my Grandma's place and give her a rose bush for Mother's Day.
