Watched HP: OOTP last night with Troy. I got it for Christmas; and it was pretty good! Next on the list? Angels in America, which I also got. (yay!!)
Troy seems to enjoy his PS2. It's not the newest of consoles, but then again, he's two steps to the left of being a complete ludite, so he was pretty happy with it. The games seem to also be going over well; which is a relief.
I saw Dana, Steph, Tara, and Christina at Montana's last night. While the dining itself was pretty lousy, the company was good-- and I miss my girls. N'aww. Good times. Red got engaged and moved into a new house; Tara amazed all with her vast knowledge of interstate highways; Dana got a + on her pregnancy test the other day; and Steph apparently doesn't like nuts in her mouth. Hah!
Christmas was good, if I forgot to mention. I am, however, very glad it's over, and am struggling to not take down the tree and have the last reminders of it packed under the stairs for next year. It was a lot more exciting and a lot more stressful, now that there's three of us. I was suprised by that.
Today's paper was filled with news of Bhutto's assasination. The next few days may be pretty touchy in Pakistan; kind of a watch and wait thing. This may force Canada to commit to Afghanistan that much longer. Oiy Vey.
And I've decided; next year, in giving recognition to family tradition and also my new-found reform Judaism (as per the internet), we shall celebrate Christmakkuh in this household. Because I said so. Shalome!
