Been to see "In my father's den" with Kat - it was really good. The way it was shot definitely conveyed being isolated in the middle of empty beautiful spaces

Sound of lightning

As I understand it, bolts of lightning (forks going from sky to ground) go 'Crack! rumble rumble rumble' whereas sheets of lightning (where the whole sky lights up, because the lightning is going from the top of one cloud to the top of another) just go 'rumble rumble'

(this site basically bears me out, although it's a bit more complicated than that)

ah! That is pretty interesting, I will have to try and work out which type of thunder it is next storm.

It was storming here last night as well ... not much rain though, just a lot of lightning and thunder. I love storms.
