(no subject)
Thank you for answering my pointless poll, I'm enjoying the answers so far :D MORE PEOPLE GO AND ANSWER IT NOW! ENTERTAIN ME!
Anyway, (god, aren't I spammy? Oh well, I don't do this to you often so I shan't worry) thanks to mrs_remus I am now knitting a Gryffindor scarf. I don't know why I'm knitting Gryffindor when I am clearly the biggest cowardly custard in chicken land but at least I can give it to Sam after I've worn it on launch night. He wouldn't take kindly to a Ravenclaw (who?) scarf or Slytherin (HARRY POTTER'S ARCH ENEMY OMG!) so I guess this is the safe bet. I told the nice lady in the wool shop that I'm knitting it for *ahem* my son and I suck at knitting. She said if I haven't finished it by mid-week to bring it to her and she'll do it for me. How lovely.
Anyway, question for people who knit. How do I join on the new colour? Do I just tie the ends together or do I have to do something fancy? I am NEVER going to get it done. It takes me ten minutes to do one row. *headdesk*
