I have to say, I never thought I'd live to see the day when I'd say...

Rosie O'Donnell said she made a homophobic remark on Live with Regis and Kelly, when Clay Aiken put his hand over her mouth to shut her up, and she said that she didn't know where his hand has been.
Now I have to say, I am not a Kelly Ripa fan. She's too... annoying for my tastes. She steamrolls over Regis all the time, but still. I know that if someone put a hand across my mouth to shut me up, they'd be pulling back a bloody stump. NO ONE touches me like that, EVER.
But I don't take that as a homophobic remark.
I take that as a remark of someone who was offended by an action. Not a homophobe.
So when Rosie said that it was on The View today, my jaw dropped. Because that, to me, was so unbelievably obnoxious and offensive. How dare Rosie call someone homophobic? How?
Consider me shocked even further when they got Kelly on the phone and she laced into Rosie, saying that she is the mother of three young children, and it's cold and flu season, and she had watched him shake hands with countless people before the show started.
Plus, how dare he even think of putting his hands on her even so? Why isn't Rosie O'Donnell all fired up about a MAN putting his hand over a WOMAN'S mouth to SHUT HER UP?
Could it be because Clay maybepossiblymightbecouldbeprobablyiswiththathaircut GAY?
Like Rosie is?
Have to say, watching Rosie backpedal was the best thing I've seen on the view since Starr stuck it to Barbara and told everyone she got fired before Babs could do it in more politically correct way. And someone seriously, seriously, seriously needs to make Rosie O'Donnell accountable for the crap that regularly spews from her mouth. If anyone needs a hand clapped over them to muzzle their comments, it's her, with her hurtful and irresponsible accusations like that.
I don't watch The View much now that Rosie's on it, because well, now that she's moderator, it sucks. Like, really sucks. She takes over everything, and I swear, if she says one more word about Barbara Streisand, I'll reach through my televison and strangle her with her laminated all access backstage pass.
