Mr. D. told me something very valuable yesterday. I had never looked at my life this way. He said we always sit bored, waiting, waiting for the school day to end, waiting for work to end, waiting for someone to love us, waiting for things that will routinely come in the end. Then he pointed out that while we're waiting for these things to come, we don't live our lives in the moments that lead up to the end and that we are going to waste waiting.
Just hearing him say that increased my respect for him. It made me contemplate my life. It made me feel like my life is filled with important things and people. I actually feel uplifted and happy, a feeling I haven't felt in so long. I hope everyone has a fantastic day. <3
