I am glad I went to the ball, though I do wish that I had paid more attnetion when choosing my floor. I do not quite remember what happened through most of the night, which bothers me to no end. I do remember speaking to several people, but I never figured out who they were... or at least, I do not remember figuring out who they were...
In light of yesterday's events, I feel it is time for me to find a place to stay with in the City proper. I have been drifting about since I arrived, and honestly, I would like a place to hide away when the City decides to be that much more hetic. I was accousted by at least three differnt people yesterday. It is an experience I would not like to repeat. Also, it has been getting rather cold at night, and the sidewalk provides very little heat while I am sleeping...
If anyone can offer any assitance in finding a safe haven, please let me know. I'm afraid I still do not know much about this City.
