Tempting Fate?
I finally have a surgery date! Friday March 13th. I am not one to be superstitious but still the hive mind so to speak says I may die or something awful like that simply because it is the 13th. I hope not. I've been told things only have the power you give them so I'm going on that premise as of now and thinking nothing terribly wrong will happen.
It's good though to know this is finally happening. I'm scared about it but also oddly excited I guess. I'm ready to feel better.
In other news, I've been putting off getting my car inspected because I'm so sure it's going to fail and require an expensive fix. It did last year and even though I've been better at taking care of it, it's still an old car that is slowly dyeing on me. I'm going to need to do it next week though or risk having an expired sticker. I hope if I fail it's at least not with the red "F."
