OP Unlimited Cruise

LOL, I was playing Unlimited Cruise until 2AM last night, then again most of today, so I guess it was worth buying. Can't remember the last time I was this absorbed by a computer game.

Anyway, I've been having fun, and then today I hit a snag of ending up running around looking for a way into unexplored parts of the first two islands that I can actually get to, and haven't managed to solve that yet, which is very frustrating. :(

It's kinda galling how useful a character Zoro is to play. Everything's "Dammit I need to be Zoro again to do this!" His attacks hit such a wide radius around him, he has more hp than anyone but Franky (who is slow. meh) and he seems to be the only one that CUTS things to collect objects. Then the reverse of that was with Robin -- I was peeved how not-useful she was to play at first, but she seems to have powered up a bit now and is much, much better and wreaking some respectable destruction. *phew* Luffy, Sanji, Brook and Nami are a lot of fun to play, although I can't get the hang of Usopp at all. Chopper's stuck in his itty bitty form and moves too slowly so I don't have the patience to play as him for long, but he beat all hell out of Enel alongside Zoro when I managed to get everyone else KILLED BY PLANTS before the boss fight. XD

Quibble: Zoro shouldn't have more hp than Luffy! That's just wrong! I know Zoro takes a ridiculous amount of damage, but Luffy's made of rubber, f'r goodness sake!

Er, I have a question, because my dodgy second hand Wii console came with no instructions. Does it save the game-in-progress information if the power's turned off completely (ie. unplugged) or is it one of these things designed to be left permanently on standby? I'm guessing it should be okay, but I don't want to risk it and be wrong.

I was amused and relieved when the battered thing merrily updated itself using one or other of my neighbours' wireless broadband when I put the disc in. XD Lack-of-internet woes.

Also. Watched first ep of Castle. It was fun, so I'll be watching more.
