Luffy/Robin art WIP
I had this urge to draw Nico Robin with 6 arms...
About halfway through I decided the reason she was using 6 arms because she was trying to drag her captain away from something he was either trying to eat or fight.
My rough pencil drawings are incredibly rough when I know it's something I'm going to ink later. This is actually one of the neat ones. I'm no good at figuring out shading. I was pleased with Robin's hair, Luffy's face, and most of the hands but especially the one she has around his waist (it makes my twisted shippy little heart happy) and his right arm.
I'm going to finish the shading in ink. But I wanted to scan it and attempt to colour it while it was still just outlines. Hence how untidy this scan is.
I haven't done much on this yet. I'm not very good at colour. I might change the shade in Robin's hair to blue.
Okay, so I maybe did go to town a bit on drawing Robin so much hair... and Luffy always comes out very spiky and angular when I've drawn him... but I kinda like it so far. Took freakin' ages to get it looking vaguely right, as well. This was my first attempt to draw Robin. Her outfit isn't a canon one, but has similarities.
