The other day when I posted the poll, the last time I checked it for the evening it had Birthdayverse, Vamp!Wes and Fred/Lilah all neck and neck, so I wrote/edited the Fred/Lilah. However, in the morning Vamp!Wes was storming ahead, so I promise to try work on that next. :)
I may post the first chapter of the F/L in rough in a bit, I'm not sure.
Am liking Tru Calling okay, though it's not gonna be a fandom, I don't think. I loathe Luke. I loathe Jack. I find the silly best friend character entirely irritating. Harrison and Tru can live, though. I'm not sure about Davis because I'm not convinced that his characterisation makes sense.
Have I ever recced Megan Whalen Turner's novel The Queen of Attolia on here? It's a YA book that somebody on my flist recced me, and it's rather wonderful. There's maiming. You gotta love YA fiction that has maiming!
