ficathon progress
Well, I have 1 ficlet down, and 99 to go. It's a start. I've got another story fragment, but it's not finished and I'm going to leave it to come back to later to see if I can make anything coherent out of it.
I've also started on the DW Crossover-Companionathon story, with about 1500 words down on that. I'm determined to at least get this well underway by the time the deadline comes around, although the fact I am on holiday without a computer for 1 week out of the 3 I have left to finish it does suggest it's not going to make it in time.
When I come back from holiday, and hopefully finish that one for the deadline (hah), I will have 3 weeks in which to write the Jakeathon story, which should in theory be plenty enough time to do so.
Meantime, is anyone prepared to beta-read the crossover companion story, or rather give it a very quick once-over chapter by chapter as I go along?
Really I need somebody to tell me when it is approaching the bad crack and keep me sensible.
It is Jake Foley with 5, Tegan, Adric, and Nyssa. It will probably be ludicrously PG, as well, but you never know your luck. Jake and Tegan are sizzling a bit together (in my head, but not yet on paper).
Not fic, but I also have a creepyfying third Murder City vid that I need to edit post-beta (thanks, versaphile, and sorry about the email silence this week), and which will be posted who-knows-when.
