Thank you! And thank you again for the rec. :)

I have now got two finished-and-unedited long stories of about 20,000 words. I do this and its very bad of me. I get in writing!mode and then I feel like I can't risk editing!mode because then I might lose the inspiration to write. But hopefully I'll be able to sort them out while I'm writing the next thing, which from the looks of things might be the really long one.

Okay, I see. I'm more than happy to beta-read when you're ready. :)

I shall make a definite effort to get at least one for them sorted within the next few weeks! :)

btw, how rough a draft are you happy to beta? Because the first one is probably not too bad, it's not actually needing any significant additions in edit, just a matter of a few plot practicalities to work out, so I might be able to get that one into a roughly beta-able state quite soon. Its main problem is that I'm not vastly familiar with the spy/thriller genre in recent years, so there are vaguaries to do with those plot points concerned with NSA mission action.

The first fic sounds beta-able. Send it on whenever you're ready. You're getting me back in Jake fangirl mode. :) Also, please let me know what you're looking for feedback-wise.

Thanks - hopefully I'll get chance to go through it sometime in the next week or two, and just make sure I don't have anything in there that's totally inane or doesn't make sense first, then I'll send it over. :)
