Just walked about 7 miles. Maybe more. Mostly through mud/gorse and/or up hill. Am knackered. Need bath. Holiday fun, what?
Still taking challenges for short fics. These seem to be actually getting written, so if you haven't left a challenge yet, go ahead. Think up something weird.
Original novel is upwards of 55,000 words. Final estimate is around 80,000, so not far off now. Need to type chapter 14 and tie up the last couple of paragraphs, then it's onto chapter 15 and the Ill Advised Romantic Union. After that I've only Big Action Conclusion to go, then I should have a book. And 80,000 words of severe editing to do.
But right now I need to go have a bath and read Pratchett's Men at Arms again.
