So i was reading "I Am A Dalek" last night and thinking about a story i was reading over
here which is rather amazing and is about Rose drowning. I won't go into details, so you'll have to read it!
Well, anyways. It reminded me of the time where i nearly drowned when i was about seven so i wrote this poem. Very depressing actually, but the story gave me another idea that i can use when i write: repitition. Best. Invention. Ever. Lol.........well here you go.........
Seven Years Old
Death give me warning, don’t make me cold,
I can’t die today at seven years old.
It was only for fun,
Now I can’t see the sun.
I’m trapped under here,
Alone with my fears.
This can’t be happening:
I’m too young to die,
But black clouds my sight,
And I can’t find the sky.
Death give me warning, don’t make me cold,
I can’t die today at seven years old.
So what if I die?
They won’t scream they won’t cry.
I think and I know,
They won’t miss me when I go.
I scream and I shout,
I need to get out.
The float bangs my head,
And through bubbles I said:
Death give me warning, don’t make me cold,
I can’t die today at seven years old.
I breathe in the water,
And I wander why.
Out of all people,
They chose me to die.
Through all the pain,
I can see them again.
All my family and friends,
They laugh and it ends.
Death gives no warning, I now feel so cold,
I died today and I’m seven years old.
BTW, this is about DROWNING people! If that scares you don't read!
