I haven't written a big post in a while.
Sob. Rereading some of my fics, hoping to fix some mistakes or add in more info. (Not enough to change the fic, of course, just to make some text seem less...choppy?) I need to practice writing more; my writing comes off pretty stale and boring. Or, at least, that's what my incredibly self-conscious mind thinks. XD;;
I'm just happy that Hetalia has made me actually put up fic again. Though to be fair, I do feel more familiar with this canon then the ones from before, and I do have more time online because I have my own computer; before, I would only have an hour or two online on the family computer, and I'd spend it talking to my friends rather than writing or watching animu.
With Hetalia fic, there's stuff like history and culture that has to be kept in mind, so I do get nervous about that. AU fics are slightly easier in that regard, I suppose.
Speaking of Hetalia, I watched some of the season 3 dub. I was really looking forward to hearing some characters' voices.
I was a little disappointed with Turkey's voice. It's not a bad voice, per se, it just...sounded too similar to other characters' voices. It didn't really stick out to me. Germania's voice was pretty nice, though.
But I really, really love Sweden's voice. OHMYGOD he sounds hot. I can't say much about the accent (because I'm not too familiar with Swedish accents), but I thought the voice itself seemed fitting. And I was pretty happy about it; his voice was the one I was the most worried about ever since the dub first came out, and I'm sooooo pleased with him.
