LJ's so slow lately. ;_; Please don't die! I might be on tumblr often, but I love this site! And friending someone's journal somehow seems more personal than following a tumblog.

OH GOD MY WRITING. I can't do it right now. Aside from having no motivation, I just feel...embarrassed about it. As much as I harp on bad characterization, I'm secretly ( Read more... )

So you are one of the few people who can ship the same character with multiple ones. Nice ^^ "Shipping wars" are plain stupid and tiresome, through I have to admit that at a time I took an active part in some of them, fighting against some riddiculously popular crack pairings *facepalm* The last picture made me lol hard. Their faces, especialy China's! *grin* The one with Austria and Hungary is especially beautiful *feeling art nouveau* The picture with Japan and Greece is very nice and original. However, at a point I started to dislike the pairing a bit (meaning: not so entusiastic at seeing it, but not being against such works)because the amount of GreecexJapan works overwhelmed all the other Japan pairings (except for England)combined.
And, continuing the thought from my previous comment, be glad that you didn't read "Utena" manga. It's lame. Really lame. And there's no shojo-ai in it. JURI is straight and obsessed with Toga. The sixth volume (film-manga) is more interesting, but still a lot worse than the actual film and STRAIGHT AS HELL.

Yup! I mean, I can prefer other pairs, but even if I don't like a pairing, I don't think there's any point in bothering those who do. Let's all have fun, you know?

It seems most Japan pairings in the western fandom aren't very popular. ;~; But I do agree that Giripan is probably the most popular of them.

That's why I've not been looking forward to the manga. I think I heard that Chiho Saito even got angry at Ikuhara and told him if he were to make Utena/Anthy canon, she'd leave the project, which is just sad. DX

I'm just glad they're both different. I guess I'd like to read the manga one day, but I get the feeling I'm not going to like it as much as the anime.

He should have cooperated with Naoko Takeuchi instead - they had worked together on "Sailor Moon" before and she clearly dosn't have anything against LGBT topics - she even prefers them! I have counted FOURTEEN queer characters only the before mentioned series XD
Back to the pictures, I really liked the first one, through I'm not an USUK fan. Here Arthur is clearly enjoying himself and is in control of the situation (whatever they are doing), which is very nice, especially since in the fandom he is usually portrayed either as wimpy uke or a badass, dominating seme, neither of which can be found even in a wide interpretation of his canon personality.
Have a nice Halloween ~

I actually thought that before! XD She'd definitely be okay with it.

Yup, that's one of the things I like about it! Fandom tends to think that England has to either be an uke who's kawaii and a crybaby (he does cry in canon, of course, but not every second) or some kind of seme rapist (which just depresses me). I love that canon!England is a much more complex character than that.

You have a nice Halloween too~
