Eating Utensils...

Did you know that eating utensils are having a threesome? I am insane, yes I am.

What?! They are!

Spoon, fork and knife. Can you guess how which are? Well, um, I'll tell you my take on them.

The Spoon is a girl. Soft, round, she supports. She dips in to shallow and deep situations easily, but never bites off more than she can chew.
The spoon is next to the knife and away from the fork in traditional settings; she likes the protective feeling he gives her. She accepts his sharp and flat sides without a second thousand. Very accepting and forgiving, the Spoon.
The Spoon doesn't see the Fork that often, but they get along well. She is charmed by him and his brashness and honesty. She wants to be with him more often, but knows they can't.
Bundled together with both Fork and Knife are when she's happiest.
(can be viewed as useless)

Spoons in fandom: Haruno Sakura, (Rayearth) Hikaru, Cloud[1], Ritsuka[2], Kunogi Himawari

The Knife is a man. Tall and straight and regal, he cuts. He has a sharp side and a soft side, with the harder edge getting the most use. He can tear apart anything, and does so silently and without remorse.
The Knife is next to the spoon in most traditional settings; he's a bit bewildered by her/wants to protect her with everything he's worth. They have a deep bond.
The Fork was his rival at first, challenging for the Spoon every chance he got. At first Knife found Fork annoying. Then they were paired for various missions/made to work together in many situations, and built a tentative friendship. That friendship turned into something more.
Knife didn't think he would like both of them, and it still amazes him that he does.
(can be viewed as cold)

Knives in fandom: Uchiha Sasuke, Lantis, Sephiroth, Soubi[2], Doumeki Shizuka

The Fork is a man, well more of a boy. He is used most often, and popular. He likes the limelight (and helping people), and his friendly. The Fork can do anything: support, cut, whatever. He's called rash because he doesn't think, and is honest because he doesn't see the point in lying. The Fork is also humble, and puts others before himself.
Fork likes the Spoon. He always has, and always will. He's known her forever, and worshiped her/really really liked her from their first meeting. He'd do anything for her. Anything at all.
Fork didn't like Knife at first. He thought the other was cold and arrogant with a stick-up-the-arse or just plain insane. He saw the Knife as a threat to winning the Spoon's heart, and rightly sought to get rid of the threat. Didn't work, though. After being partnered with the man and getting to know him better, Fork came to appreciate (even like) the better parts of his once-rival. That doesn't stop him from getting annoyed at Knife's ...knifeness, though.

Forks in fandom: Uzumaki Naruto, Eagle, Zack, Kio, Watanuki Kimihiro

[1]Ok, so he's not a girl, but: Cloud supports. Fandom!Cloud is round and cute, and so totally a spoon. -big grin-
[2]A}Ok, also not a girl. Ritsuka is Ritsuka.
B}Soubi is ruthless, for his Sacrifice. He follows orders. He has a deep bond with Ritsuka.

Where did all this come from, you ask? Well...
Know how when you're a kid and grown-up talk is just so boring? I do. Instead of listening to things I barely understood, I made up stories with the closest available objects: my silver wear. (I talked out loud the first time and used everything on the table: my napkin, the salt and pepper, etc. They adults weren't very happy... This is probably how the voices in my head originated. My first characters besides my feet: Fork, Spoon and Knife.)

I hope you enjoyed the insanity. Continue on with your day feeling just a little bit saner ('cause yes, there are people crazier than you!)
