Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Rose is that weird in-between height, 5'7", where she's taller than most girls but smaller than most men. As for her figure, she is very petite yet holds a lot of strength beneath her small frame.
2. How old is she?
She appears to be in her late teens/early twenties when she's actually thirty in human years because her people age much slower than humans.
3. Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch?
Rose has some of the best posture seen nowadays. This is from a strict upbringing by her father and never being allowed to slouch or have bad manners lest she be more of an eyesore to him.
4. How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
In reality, the woman is perfectly in shape but does nothing to keep it so. She has no illnesses or physical disabilities that are known.
5. How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Rose is extremely lithe but to appear more human will fain clumsiness.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does she perceive herself in the mirror?
To most, Rose is "cute." She's got short, curly hair and dark eyes to contrast those gold tresses and her alabaster skin.
Rose, however, sees herself completely differently. Whenever she looks at herself all she sees is a monster. She will never fit in with her own kind nor will she ever blend in perfectly with human society.
7. Describe her complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
The girl is as pale as a bedsheet. Her paleness has led to a few scars never quite disappearing from her time in the demon fighting ring. They're mostly centralized on her back but there's a couple along her legs too.
8. Describe her hair: color, texture, style.
Golden locks that tend to fall into big, adorable ringlets. If not taken care of though, her hair will frizz up and look wavy instead of curly.
9. What color are her eyes?
Dark brown.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
Nothing, really, that would make her stand out of a crowd. It's more a feeling that deters people than any actual physical traits.
11. What are her chief tension centers?
Everywhere. The woman does not like to be touched unless someone is given permission to touch.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit?
Rose dresses in the epitome of "tomboy" clothes. A lot of T-shirts and jeans. Occasionally, in warmer weather, she'll be seen in a sundress but not very often.
13. Do her clothes fit well? Does she seem comfortable in them?
Her clothes do fit as well as can be and she is comfortable in most outfits. It's only when pushed to wear something out of her comfort zone (i.e. a dress) she seems anxious.
14. Does she dress the same on the job as she does in her free time? If not, what are the differences?
Oh, of course not. Work clothes are always dress pants and long-sleeved shirts.
15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Buh-huh-wha?
Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
Rose's voice is like a wind chime, high and light and beautiful to listen to.
2. How does she normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does she talk easily, or does she hesitate?
Often, the blond speaks softly. She definitely hesitates when she talks sometimes. If she gets nervous though, she'll talk faster and even quieter making it difficult for people to understand her.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
As far as accents go, she really doesn't have one since her native dialect was nothing comparable to any human language and she had to learn to talk from scratch when coming over to the human world.
4. What language/s does she speak, and with how much fluency?
She is fluent in both English and Japanese as far as mortal languages go.
5. Does she switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
Generally, she speaks English now that she's in Elegy. Back home, her main dialect was Japanese unless she had a customer at work that was a tourist from America.
6. Is she a good impromptu speaker, or does she have to think about her words?
Definitely has to think about her words.
7. Is she eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
Rose can be quite inarticulate. The circumstances in which this changes is when her life is threatened. In this situation, she takes on a trait she inherited from her father which is his sharp yet eloquent tongue.
Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is she book-smart or street-smart?
Rose is an intelligent girl but doesn't always show it. She's definitely more street-smart than book-smart though.
2. Does she think on her feet, or does she need time to deliberate?
Definitely needs time to consider what to do or say in most situations.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is she more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Rose is intuitive in the sense that she relies on what she thinks people are feeling to determine what she says or does. Because of this, she's probably more idealist than practical as well.
4. What kind of education has the character had?
No human education. All the instruments she plays and information she knows is self-taught.

Music. Rose loves everything musical and has conquered quite a few instruments in her quest for being able to not only know as much as she can but play as much music as she can.

Psh, an introvert. Thanks to people in Elegy though, she's gradually coming out her shell more and more.
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is she even-tempered or does she have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
Rose is a bipolar little thing. Whereas she can seem happy-go-lucky most of the time, she has a tendency to get depressed or moody too. Recently, she seems more laid-back and happy to just do nothing in Elegy.
8. How does she respond to new people or situations? Is she suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
The demoness is extremely wary of new people even if she'll put up a friendly front. If anyone new tries to touch her or do something she doesn't like in general, she'll react badly.
9. Is she more likely to act, or to react?
React. Unless giving reason to, Rose won't do anything hostile though.

(WIP)

Her "daddy issues" definitely define a big part of her life. Her days in the fighting ring are also a huge factor in why she is like she is today.

She fears for her mortality in the face of certain death back home. Not only that but she fears what's become of her son in her absence.
15. What are her hopes or aspirations?
Rose hopes to someday know of her son's future. All she wants is for him to be alright and happy back home.
16. What is something she doesn't want anyone to find out about her?
That she's really just a cold-blooded murderous monster bent on revenge for the happiness that was taken away from her.
Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with her parents.
Strained, to say the least. Her mother killed herself in shame over her "freak" of a daughter before Rose was old enough to remember. Her father, bitter and vengeful about losing his first love, was hellbent on denying Rose any sort of affection or praise.
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
Again, strained. She had younger siblings eventually but they all treated her like the outcast she was.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom she is close? Are there ones she can't stand?
Anyone related to her wanted nothing to do with her.
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom she considers part of her family? What are her relationships with them?
George Kirk is like the father she always wanted. Jim Kirk is like the over-protective big brother she never had. With them, she finally has a small, but (mostly) functional family.
5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
Luke Johnson was her best friend. They met in the demon fighting ring where they helped each other heal physically, mentally, and emotionally after fights.
6. Does she have other close friends?
I wouldn't say she has any close friends but Rose definitely does have plenty of people she now considers her friends.
7. Does she make friends easily, or does she have trouble getting along with people?
Rose attracts friends like flies to honey. She just seems to have that warm personality people tend to enjoy.
8. Which does she consider more important: family or friends?
That's a loaded question because some friends Rose considers to be like family, so.
9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has she been married more than once?
As of recently, Rose is widowed. She was only married once.

That's... hard to say.
11. Who was her first crush? Who is her latest?
Her first crush was probably Iceland. Her latest is still Iceland.

Rose wants someone understanding. She needs someone to accept her for what she is and help her realize that she's not the horrible monster she makes herself out to be.

The demon ring leaders are her sworn enemies.
15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does she fall on the
Kinsey scale?
Rose's sexual orientation is actually bisexual so a three on the Kinsey scale. She accepts all forms of love, regardless of gender. It just happens that she's only fallen in love with men during her life.
16. How does she feel about sex? How important is it to her?
It's not important but it is nice. Honestly though, she can live without it.
17. What are her turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
Uh, hum. I'll get back to you on that one.
Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (
zodiac of
choice) sign? How well does she fit type?
(WIP)
2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in her life?
She is neither, honestly. Rose does not believe in any religion and just lives life day to day.
3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
She has a lack of faith in humankind spawned from her days in the fighting ring. She knows not everyone is evil but follows the saying "once bitten, twice shy."
4. How does she regard beliefs that differ from hers? Is she tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
Rose is very tolerant of other people's beliefs.
5. What prejudices does she hold? Are they irrational or does she have a good reason for them?
Rose has a dislike for humankind in general. They've wronged her and so she's wary to trust them. So far in Elegy though, everyone has been nothing but kind to her.
Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is she rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
Back home, she was considered poor. In Elegy, there is no real monetary system but she still has the "poor person" mentality.
2. What is her social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected her?
Lower middle-class. It's about the same in Elegy since she lives in almost the same type of place she did back home.
3. Where does she live? House, apartment, trailer? Is her home her castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does she share it with others?
Rosie lives in a small one-bedroom apartment in the complex affectionately referred to as the Trekpartment. It's just a place to live, really, although she keeps it nice and tidy. While she doesn't share it with George exactly, they're around each other so much it's kind of hard to tell they don't actually live together sometimes.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does she spend her money on?
Not much, really. Rose is happy more than happy with her guitar that was gifted by Eddie.
5. What does she do for a living? Is she good at it? Does she enjoy it, or would she rather be doing something else?
No career as of yet. In Elegy, she's been looking into starting a bakery though.

The girl plays her guitar until her fingers practically fall off. She spends a lot of her time trying to learn to play new songs.
7. What are her eating habits? Does she skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
Honestly, Rose doesn't need to eat as much as a normal person. It's not technically skipping meals but she tends to only eat once a day. Alcohol is okay with her. She's not too picky about much but seafood seems to be one of the few things she generally doesn't like.
