Who wouldn't be attracted to that light? Even I, I'm fascinated by it too. One of our similarities is that we are interested in people with gaps. And, heaven forbid that someone have a greater gap than that person.
From the beginning, he was mine. It was set in stone. It seems that that stone wasn't hard enough that it couldn't be broken. I really liked him. As he had said once, I am his complement. But, I wonder, when did it stop?
Everyone is struggling, even I. The shift had been so slow, so unnoticeable, that when everyone realized it, the feeling was like getting hit by an accelerating truck. When had something so unlikely became so natural?
The process had progressed over time. Maybe it was because of our respect for each other - the way we could hold onto ourselves. It had brought us closer. The thought that the other was dependable made us depend on each other. Then, we started being close. So close, it was unnatural to think otherwise. Now, I am following him as he's following me. We are walking next to each other. Is it - is this so questionable?
He had been - always had been and always will be - an intriguing person. I had wanted to know him - the person so unlike me. And, I came to know him. We are truly different. We are worlds apart. I don't know what had happened, but we reached out to each other. It was so surreal - I don't know who had reached out first and who had held unto the other's hand first. I just happened. Next thing I knew, I want to support him - and I do.

His hand was on the other's back when they entered the room.
"So, what feeling are you going with today?" he asked, his eyes sparkling.
"I'll go with the-fishes-are-not-taking-the-bait-i-wonder-what's-wrong feel," he answered, declaring it as if a goal.
He laughed not matter how ridiculous the other's answer was.
"Oh-chan~ You didn't answer last night. I sent you a message if you would want to eat dinner with me," my best friend complained as he laid on the couch, hands and feet flailing - like a spoiled child.
Oh-chan pouted, "But you already know the answer to that. I'm keeping our tradition, Nino."
This answer elicited a response from MatsuJun. "Nino, you're still pursuing Riida about that? He could be stubborn, you know."
Nino crossed his arms, "But, he's mine!"
At this, he chuckled. "I think, Ohno-kun will be the one to decide that. Don't be childish, Nino."
The tension went up and he realized his mistake.
His eyes flew to me and he smiled, "Right, Aiba-chan?"
I don't have a choice now, do I? "Yeah... Hey, Nino, stop being a brat!"
He sent me an apologizing look, then smiled in thanks.
"You shut up, stupid!"
I laughed after hitting him his head.
"Just be thankful it's me who's hitting you right now and not MatsuJun, stupid!"
Nino smiled at the joke.
"What was that?!"
The room was filled with our laughter.
Yes, sometimes it hurts and the pain just accumulates.

A/N: *hugs Aiba* Don't worry, next time I will smite Sho in my fanfic. Just don't expect me to hurt Oh-chan... much.
Aiba: Hey! Aren't you being biased?
A/N: Err... Hehe, *scratched the back of the head* gomen..?
