I am now a trained barrista, since the theater is getting Starbucks style coffee stations. The CEO they hired a few years ago used to work at Starbucks...we even get our supplies from them.
That's not the funny part.
The funny part is that one of the teenagers (who they feel is a good employee, even though she's NEVER doing her job and is the hub of all gossip) is training people on the coffee station. She has us make a drink, and then another and so on, and by the time we're done training we've made between 8 - 16 coffee drinks. The first day, she would drink them rather than just toss them out.
And she was taken to the ER for heart palpitations about an hour after she got off work.
Did that stop her from downing them as she's training or have someone in authority step in?
Hell no.
Last night, when I worked, she'd had about 5 or 6 (she couldn't remember) and her hands weren't just shaking, they were VIBRATING with her thumb and pinky finger randomly twitching.
My guess? By the end of the week, she'll be vibrating so violently that she'll vibrate into a parallel Earth, just the how the Flash would go to Earth 2.
