We are so having an international banquet here at work today.
it is so good.
I sniped a cannoli for dessert. :)
The Polish food is going over well...apparently we have a decent sized population of Eastern Europeans here.
When I walked out the door with two bags full of food this morning, my mom said "how many people are actually ON your team?"
To which I replied "44"
She just laughed and said "With that much food you have enough to feed them all a meal of just that, without anything else"
Then she said "But that's what mama taught"
It's so true. Tis what grandma always does. There's always enough food for everyone to have and have a full meal or two afterwards.
And it's way better than going to the Warsaw, I must say. :)
On a totally different note, I'm hoping to be home at least by 9 tonight!
Why is this, on a Friday night?
I haven't been home before 9 any night this week, and I'm TIRED!
Some of it was fun and games, some was necessity, but all of it together is makin' me go "zzz"
Last night was insane. I went from work to the store to get dinner to class to pizza hut to check on my sis' computer to home to cook to go to bed to bring it all here this morning. If you think the sentence was confusing....try doing it all.
Tonight I'm meetin' up with Debbie and we're gonna do some light shopping and dinnering. I haven't seen her in ages and she is one of my best friends in the whole wide world....she's been so busy with the being engaged and owning a house and working thing. *le sigh*
Yayyy!
Saturday: work then haunted houses. But I'll probably lounge a lot until then. tee hee.
Time to go for now all. Have a good one.
