sooooo. the white stripes were fun. they didn't play 2/3 of my favorite songs off the new album, but they played my favorite one of all time so that was okay. they also didn't play jolene, i didn't think they would but it would have been cool. i was pretty much rocking out the whole time. i had a dream the night before the show that i saw jack white in the subway and that i told him i wrote a song about him (that's really true, it's a little blues called "jack white i think i'd like to be your girl" which isn't necessarily true at all but it made a good lyric) and he asked me to sing it so i did but i could hardly rememeber any of the words (which is also true) but i told him i remembered there was a verse about washing his hair in the rain because it was too greasy (which is true as well; it was during his "i'm dating renee zelaksdjhfgalkjger and i'm not gonna wash my hair till she starts dating that ugly talentless country pop man" phase). too bad that didn't actually happen. i wish they had played the denial twist. they had a very cool stage. i liked the xylophone. i did not like brendon benson despite the fact that he looked like paul westerberg circa 1984. i officially need a blues overdrive pedal. bad.
