"Rider" is actually a class designation-- her true name is actually Medusa, of the Gorgon Sisters in Greek mythology.

While there isn't an official translation to the game available yet, or even a complete fan translation, there is a site that has a boatload of information relating to TYPE-MOON's series, here. I have a whole huge boatload of artwork of the various characters, and it's all totally available on request. o_od
