Today was a pretty good day...at first. Actually you want to hear the stupidest thing you have ever heard in your entire life? Ok so my human geography course (which is pointless) professor had a conference or something this week so he would not be in class. But today we had to go in anyway because there was some other geo. person proctoring our map quiz. Let me explain the "Map quiz" it’s generally a pop-quiz with 10 countries, cities, rivers, mts., or oceans to identify. Then there are the maps we were given to study from, on which there are corresponding labels. Example: Where is:
Sarajevo
On the maps:
1a, 1b, 1c etc., and of course only one of these labels is on the correct spot. By the way I did actually remember where that is, it’s in Bosnia...just in case you were wondering.
Anyway, the point is...these map quizzes literally take about 5 minutes. I got to class at about 3 mins till 9:30am, and left class at exactly 9:35am. WTF, why in the world would I get up at freaking 8 am to spend 5mins in class. I have never been quite so annoyed, plus I mean if it takes like 5mins then why the hell couldn't he have done it in class on Tuesday morning. I don't know...all I can come up with is that he is annoying.
Today to make the day even more interesting the allergens up here are like unbelievable so I wasn't feeling all that great, and neither was Scott. So I had some cold meds in my bag and I gave each of us one. So we were feeling better, for like an hour. Then the meds hit! *scary music please* And of course what happens then...unimaginable drowsiness, and dizziness! I could barley keep my eyes open in my National Security Policy class, which lets face it, that’s not the easiest class to stay awake in, in the first place. So I came back at 12:15 from class and Scott and I ate something real quick, and then it was NAP TIME. Scott slept for 45mins before his class, but I fell asleep just about clear through until 6:10pm. Scott came back from class and slept until 6:30! I never do that, it was incredible. I am feeling better now...but wow, that was some intense medicine.
So now I figure I will be up all night, which is ok because Scott and I rented a few movies, and I have laundry to do. Anyway, that’s my day.
