"I will drink this cup of poisen!"
I have more to say but its about the more artistic side of me!
I was thinking... i just saw Van Helsing and i love the whole vampire feel. Its so interesting i think because there are so many different ways u can go with the story. I was thinking of a musical dealing with the vampire feel. There was this musical that didnt last on Broadway for more then 4 months called, Dance of a Vampire... The great Michael Crawford was in it but the story didnt seem too great and it later went bankrupt. But it was a typical phantom of the opera setting where there was a girl who was in love with this handsome young man and this older vampire wanted to make her his bride... i mean that is so overdone... But here are some thoughts:
First of all, either make the original Dracula Story into a hit musical which would be really cool to see. But if you want to get something a bit more original i was thinking something like this:
A girl named Sara (we'll say) is in love and engaged to a man named... Owen (we'll say). They have been in love all their life and they thought nothing could break their bond. HOwever, one dark nite Owen is bitten by a vampire and forced to drink its blood, turning Owen into a Vampire. He tries to hide this secret from Sara until he can figure out what to do. However, one night while talking to Sara, his urge for blood causes him to lose control and he turns to the maid and kills her by drinking all her blood. Sara is horrified to see Owen at this state and she tries to escape but Owen grabs her promising Sara that he would never harm her! Sara breaths a slight sigh of relief but she fears still for her life. She realizes that now he is condemed to this future or to hell. Owen goes off then in search of blood. Weeks pass and the death of many local people begin a search to find and kill the vampire. Owen visits Sara another night offering her a choice, since his life is at stake he has to leave but he tells sara that he should let him turn her into a vampire. Sara is speechless and doesnt know what to say. Knowing that this was a lot to ask, he leaves telling her he will come back to see her answer. Sarah is now faced with a choice, to sacrifice her religous path to heaven OR to go for love condeming her to hell.
It could go a little something like that. Other possible things that could happen is that Owen kills her father so she begins to want to kill him along with the town. Another suitor could try to win her love but Owen could kill him and Sara feels she has to get away from Owen. And little stuff like that
