Wasn't there a knitting thing?

It seems like a few years ago, there was a knitting thing someone did instead of nanowrimo. I think I may want to do that.

I have a very funny story summary, but it's completely unworkable for several reasons, not the least of which is that it's about real people and events.

I'm pondering my options.
