Bitta culcha, innit
So, this weekend was funtimes : )
Saturday morning:
watching the NZ/France game with friends at t’pub.
Now see, England, that’s how rugby should be played.
Saturday afternoon:
watching the first half of Downton Abbey Series 1 boxset. Instant love : D
Saturday evening:
concert at the Philharmonie.
Dug out posh frock and heels and had a fabulous time listening to the Vienna Chamber Philharmonic playing a bit of Haydn and Beethoven
Sunday morning:
a rare church service where I wasn’t dashing round doing stuff beforehand.
Made up for that afterwards as had to sort a whole bunch of forms and things.
Got me some more books. Tasty tasty books.
Sunday afternoon:
Grand theatre had its “Portes ouvertes” day (free access to the whole building) so met up with a housemate and we went on the excellent guided tour (which was in FR and EN: I still have no idea what nationality the guide was but he was vg) and followed it up by attending a piano battle www.pianobattle.com
So joyous. Chris should totally do this if he can find a friend bonkers enough...
Sunday evening:
watching the second half of Downton Abbey Series 1. Felt quite bereft when it came to an end. Luckily there is now series 2, lol.
Other stuff what I done this week:
Watched Becoming Jane. Very indulgent, but enjoyed it nonetheless.
Went running. Twice.
Went to a Maltese party chez Bunny (one of the Magnificent 7). Tasty tasty Maltese snacks and desserts, French food and Portugese wine. Nomnomnom. I was still wiped from running (peps me up but then knocks me out), but it was all gd.
