Wow it has really been a long time!
Vicki reminded me today that I haven't posted in my journal in a long time and man was she right. It has been a really long time. Maybe because nothing of interest has really been going on in my world. So let's update:
Family - Stella is 4 years old now! I can't believe she is 4 already. Time has really flown up. She is very sassy and has a lot of attitude...sometimes too much. I feel like she tries my patience A LOT! I try to not get upset with her, but it is very difficult. Don and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary in January. I can't believe it has been 5 freaking years!
We have definitely had some rough patches over the past few months. Don finally stopped smoking weed. He had promised me when Stella was born he would stop...needless to say that never happened. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind him smoking, but I mind the money he spent on it. And he smoked ALL OF THE TIME! I don't really smoke much and I hate the smell of it, so I hated smelling it on him all of the time. It was a real turn off. And it was bad for him, he ate more at night, which caused him to be sick in the morning. He doesn't sleep well when he smokes and he is really unproductive when he smokes. I was just over it. It finally came to the point where I said "what if I told you smoking so much was a deal breaker for me?" I think he finally realized how serious I was about him stopping. Well he did and in the process can really be a jerk. I feel like I have to deal with it though because I am the one that asked him to quit. It is getting better though. I knew it would be hard.
Work - I got a new position at work. So far I like it. I like the people I work with and so far am liking the new position. I have a lot to learn, but I like learning new stuff.
Weight - pretty much at a stand still. Lost 130 pounds in the first year after surgery and have not lost a thing since. I am working on it though. Would like to lose another 30. I had brachioplasty (arm surgery) last April. They removed about 2 pounds of extra skin off of each arm. I am happy with the results. Don't get me wrong, they are still big, but I am much more comfortable with them now.
Other - Started selling Tupperware in November. I am very excited about it! I love the products. I am slowly but surely replacing everything in my kitchen! Don said he said he hasn't really ever seen me into anything as much as I am into Tupperware. I have met some awesome people and hope to meet more. I didn't start selling to actually have parties, I really just wanted the discount, but now I have had a few parties and I like it. They have a program to get new consultants more product during the first 13 weeks of their new job. I am now in week 13 and I really want to earn the products that are the prize for this week!
