Quatre did not often get frustrated, but there was just something about Carrot that he couldn't let roll of his back. Every time Quatre thought he'd finally gotten through to him, that you just don't do these sorts of things...

The bellow, the loudest he'd ever heard the intercom get, was the straw that broke the camel's back. The ensuing building confrontation between Carrot and his roommate, Bella, was enough to urge him into action.

Despite his best friend's warnings not to travel the hallways alone, the blond pilot walked with confidence and conviction up the two flights of stairs, stopping when he heard voices clearly in the hallway of the third floor rooms. He noted the two men, and hoped he was correct in assuming the older one holding the sobbing girl was John, and that Edgeworth was the one who'd just arrived and was also trying to comfort the young lady, who must have been Bella.

"I'm Quatre," he said calmly, the only introduction that would be possible in this situation. He closed the distance between him and the others, but not all the way. It wouldn't do any good to have all three of them looming over her. "Are you all right, Bella?"
