I GOT CAST
It's a low-budget independent feature film and I play the lead. I'll get a bit of pay and a percentage of the profits along with 1 title credit and a copy of the film. We start shooting next week.
It only took a year.
In other news...
No I am not anywhere near the fires.
I am about 30 miles east of Malibu (roughly) and while I can see the occasional smoke rising above the hills I am not in any danger.
Work has allowed me time off this year for Christmas. I'll be able to fly home to OKC/Tulsa for about a week. So, anyone in the area Dec 23rd-29th make sure and look me up.
Speaking of work, the retail store I use for my crappy day job has gone bankrupt. Bombay will close by the end of January (most likely before) and I'll be out of a job there. But, I'm not worried. I calculated I was making more money as a background actor and that will also afford me a more flexible schedule, free food, contacts, and lots of down time between takes to read or work other projects. Plus, its acting if only on a small scale.
Question #267: Do you squeeze the roll of toothpaste from the middle or the bottom?
