Ok. It is much later and I took a tramadol so I am feeling much better.
Finished a painting I was doing for Josh's 21st. Ok, you got me, it was a paint by number but it turned out really well! Besides, it's not like I can buy him a case of coronas or anything. Not that we need any more beer in the house. We went to Williamsburg for the reunion and stayed for the beer, lol.
I remember hearing a story about the mob, how every Christmas they would put an amount of money in an envelope and give it to each other so in the end everyone ends up with no loss and no gain, but a clean slate debt-wise. Since our birthdays are within a week of each other, josh and I do something similar. This year it got more basic. We went to Best Buy together and he got me a 20$ pc game and I promised to buy him stargate atlantis.
I'm planning on having a cookout this saturday for my birthday. Then we can go see a movie or something, but I need something with a long time span because I know all my friend cant make it at one time.
I'm just now starting to get into full swing of summer. I think the creative bug bit me becuase I want to do all these projects suddenly. Like building and painting a book case. Cleaning my room so the loft bed will fit better. Getting that closet organizer. Stuff like that. It helps that when I'm building something or painting something, the pain usually dies down a bit. Unlike today when I was rushing that painting for josh and the pain just grew. It sucks actually becasue I took a tram yesterday and I felt better for the rest of the day, but then today it just got worse all over again. I dont know what it is. True testament to learning new things about yourself every day. You'd think after a year and half of the same routine I'd have it all down, but if only it were that simple.
Visa Championships are in Dallas this year. We have family in Dallas. I have cash for the tickets. We can make this work. If I invite Mandy to go, we can take the train, it'll be like 30 hours, but that's what sleeper cars are for. Then we can stay at my gram's for the week. And our only expenses will be the rent a car, the train, food, and the tickets which are an incredible 45$ for the whole week. I'm excited, but I gotta make sure she doesn't have to be at Chris Newport by then, cause it is about when orientation and so gets started. We'll see.
Man, the thing about Tram is it gives me cotton mouth. Yech.
Oh, and I lost my retainer. Before we left. Like, over a week ago. You'd think the thing spontaneously combusted, but I couldn't find any scorch marks...
Tomorrow I'm cleaning under my bed. Pray for me :D
And I have (finally) installed sims 3. OMG. It's great.
