I graduated!

So I went to Georges majestic lounge for my graduation and wore my cap and tassel, not the gown. The Bel Airs were palying and I thought going to dance and have a good time sounded like more fun than going to a ceremony where I didn't know anybody and standing around and stuff. We danced and had margartias and then went to dinner at the Brew Pub ( Read more... )

Congrats again, glad you had fun at Georges. How come you decided against the gown?

By the time we actually got up to Dickson Street we found that there was some bike race going on and several blocks were well blocked. So we had to park a long ways away and were already late. I just wanted to get there at that point. I skipped my graduation for this! No, I really didn't find the idea of the ceremenony appealing. Anyway, I don't know, I just thought I could put the cap on, take it off when I wanted without it being a big ordeal. I had several strangers (and friends and family) congratulating me and it turns out my friend Amy was at Georges and she was graduating the next day from the U of A. She has been going for seven years to complete a four year and I have been going for five to complete a two, so we are kinda similar.

I got to dance a few times with the cap on and everyone thought I was funny. Mama danced with me and Larry and Marty Kerrigan...I never have really figured out how to spell there whole name. It seems so long.

It was a good night and we even got home by like 1:00.

So glad that you got to kick up your heels and fill your belly. Sounds like you all had a great time! Much needed stress reliever I'm sure.
L.W.'s name is hyphenated Kerrigan-Winter.
Luv ya tons,

Yeah - so how is it that he can always have so much energy? Amazing and he's always like that. I hear little things about their girls sometimes. The youngest is Rosie, right? She is the one who's in CA I think and the Angeline, the one my age, has been in Costa Rica and somewhere else studying abroad. Rosie is going into nursing too I think. Popular field that nursing, I just don't think it's for me. I also saw this past Friday at Happy hour, Holley Dottley who lived at the house that in the big bend in the road when you are going to Joselyn and John Michael's or the MOO field. She recently got her masters, she's an art teacher and loves it. Her sister was graduating from the U of A Sat. so we kinda celebrated graduations at the same happy hours.

Well, I tried to reply to this directly from my email account where it send me replies to these live journal posts, but it appears it didn't get here or something. Anyway, I am thinking of coming up in July, maybe for the Winnapeg thing that Becky is going to. The first weekend in July I think. I really want to bring the whole family this time. I will have to find someone to stay at my house and stuff though ( ... )
