Mostly to pass on some news from fadeintodawn in demmed_elusive. There is apparently a new adaptation of Pimpernel in the works. They're looking to do for Pimpernel what Guy Ritchie did for Sherlock Holmes

I will happily read anything you write... I am firmly of the opinion that you will be published, it's just a matter of when and where, really.

I'm frightened that saying it aloud will jinx it, but I feel confident that the end of 2011 will find me with a publishing contract.

I like Ghita. I'd love to see another revision or two - I'll leave it to you to decide which revisions I'd be most helpful / interested in.

And no, let's not jinx you. I want to see your books in print for the completely selfish goal of being able to point at your books and tell people "that's my famous friend!".

The revision I'm about to finish is only minorly different from what you read, so I won't send it to you. I'll waiting mostly to see what response I get at the conference and what revisions that entails, either through acceptance or rejection. We can hopefully play it from there.
