We're home...for what its worth. The trip wasn't that bad actually...except I got sick with a damn cold...or allergies. There's something around my Aunt's house that always strikes my upper respitory system like mad...I am ALWAYS sick there, and it sucks. I got to go on a sailboat for the first time...the lake was like the ocean with waves 3 feet tall, it was breathtaking. All around were mountians and trees...I almost fell asleep, except my Dad's a moron and thinks he's funny when he's not. But other then obnoxious parents, it was peaceful...though I almost got sick on the trip back, which was a much quicker, rougher ride then on the way there. We hung out at the Beach all day, or...Boat House rather...kind of a secluded place. But it was the first day I spent totally out doors in a long long time. I actually have a bit of color in my skin...and like it. Not tan though...I never tan. I either...get a bit of color, then burn. Or...just stay pale, which is a lot easier if you ask me. Anyways, staying at the Boathouse (which looked like it was right out of the 1930's) was rather dull...I read a book, talked to my Aunt...and then went for a walk with mom on this lovely bike path. The day before that, we spent the day downtown Burlington, I bought a hot pair of guy pants at Hot topic...because they reminded me of Snape...and because, well...I wanted a pair of guy pants. They're comfortable...I wore them today. And they're cool. Heh. Am is cool. Anyways, Jam got a really awesome new Trenchcoat, I love it. We went to the Peace and Justice store where we all had fun picking up bumper stickers for our cars, I got three really great ones, one is feminist power, and the other two are religious or environmental, I don't remember. We also went to the Ethan Allen Homestead which was soooooo cool! I got a quill pen and ink, I can't wait to use it! Though...there's no one to write to...Maybe I'll mail myself a letter one of these days.
Today though, today was the best. We went to this secluded Mountian stream and spent a few hours in the cleanest, more sparkling cold water! With gorgeous rocks...and another stream coming off into it that I wanted badly to explore but couldn't...I sat there a while, in the shade...feet in the water...admiring that art of mother nature. It was so beautiful I almost cried...haha. I'm such a whimpy person. =)
At Barnes and Noble I saw this very handsome guy with long red hair...I wanted badly to talk to him, he looked interested...but then again, he also liked a bit older then me...long distance doesn't work out. Well, its ok to admire and giggle about from behind the bookshelves. Heheh. I nick named him Bill Weaseley. Speaking of hair...I am calling tomorrow...or Tuesday rather, since tomorrow she doesn't work, and setting up a hair appointment...because moving the hair out of my eyes is getting annoying and old...I want to chop it short. Very short, but fashionably so. I'll never have long beautiful hair...just something that I've accepted, so its time to enjoy and work with what I have. n.n Besides, it looks like a fun haircut and it will always grow back. Looking beautiful isn't important any more, having fun with your appearence is...enjoying who you are...If you can't reach the beauty you want, enjoy and make the most out of the beauty you have.
