Why can't I fall asleep?!
Gah... don't you hate when you actually have the time to take a nap, and just can't fall asleep? *sulk*
So, today I spoke on Hoppy's behalf at the Teacher of the Year ceremony thing. Mr. Jones ended up winning, but that's okay because he's a cool guy. Still, though... can't the LA department catch a break? Hoppy and Buchanan both losing?! Oh, well. I got cake and a chance to talk with the marvelous Paige, so it all ended up alright.
I also got a call from a certain Commie yesterday. He seemed to very much enjoy the letter/picture, so huzzah! He's actually going to be in my area that day, convienently enough. He doesn't know if the dance itself can work out, but he did say that we can definitely get together at some point that day anyway. Everything is "workable." So I am a silly, happy, girlie Dani.
