Oh my god, I'm listening to a report from the New Orleans TV station about the increase in gun sales in the areas in which New Orleans evacuees are going. WTF!!!! The report showed all white people buying guns because as one guy said "so many new people in the area, makes folks nervous." So many "new people"... dang, say what you mean asshole... The black woman anchor of the news show pressed the point that people entering these areas are being checked for weapons, incidents in N.O. were isolated, etc.
I can't help but recall the animated 'history of the south' from Fahrenheit 911! Oh, lordy, white folks are going to have to get a handle on their racism.
They just announced alcohol sales have been suspended until further notice. Can't have depressed people getting drunk!
