Godscalck's disappointed face! He wanted a shiny too. =P But yeah, if storm sense is already hardwired in then there's no arguing it.

I'm trying to figure out if Godscalck (retired) might have been one of the people bailing Theo's ass out of the fire when he fell in love went batshit. =P

(er, yeah, something rather different. ^_^ Storm, capital S, has nothing to do with weather and everything to do with the knots their world ties itself in.)

she's the high priest's daughter - *COUGH* yeah, that would sort of be the source of the batshit, only insert "she's the daughter of one of the heads of the VOC... y'know, your EMPLOYER... ie the semi-nobility..." and boy howdy did her family disapprove. Which turned into "you are never seeing her EVER again" and there was a kid involved and things went downhill and batshit from there. Theo had a BIT of a temper on him back in the day. =P

People are remarkably dumb in similar ways? ^_^

Juuuuust a bit messy. In the "serious anger management issues and collateral damage on other people is totally excuseable" sort of state. (I think I calculated once that he didn't actually snap out of that snit until about a century later. =P)
