For those of you interested in children's/YA literature, I highly recommend following the
Battle of the Kids' Books. They take sixteen of the best books of last year, bracket them in alphabetical order, and get authors to decide each match. This year, I decided I wanted to read all of the books being discussed, and it's a lot of fun. I still have two and a half books to finish, but they're all on my kindle waiting for me.
After spending a lot of time in January and February tracking down all the books for that, I decided this month, I was going to read only books that I already had (or, for this purpose, already had on hold or already had intentions to buy). It's been good so far, and I think I might go with a broad theme for each month. I'm thinking of themes like award winners, books in a series, or nonfiction for other months.
I have other things I want to write about, as usual, but no energy left for it tonight. One grumbledy grumble post and one food post to follow, hopefully in the not so distant future. ;-)
