Written for the spn_gen_bigbang 's mini bang.
Borrowing Freedom is a wonderful story that chronicles an AU verse wherein Dean was adopted and raised by a couple who own a ranch. The story picks up with Dean, a cowboy and part-time bull rider, when he finds a beautiful buckskin mustang he claims as his own at the winter roundup. He names the mustang Castiel. :)
Note: this is a prequel for another story toady wrote, but can stand on its own.
As someone who loves cowboy Dean, I could not resist her prompt when I read it! And I was not disappointed. This is a great story and I had a lovely time working with toady. I couldn't ask for a more patient and sweet author to work with. :)
