So after I threw R a surprise 30th B-day party she vowed to get me back. Well, 5 months in advance she did. I walked into the house after seeing the Simpsons movie and found my home to be invaded by lots of our friends and family. Of course it wasn't really a surprise to me as I was totally expecting this! R has cleaned the house all week under the pretense that "Andy was coming to town". And then there was the "call after you get out of the movie" because R didn't go see it with me. She said she didn't want to see it. Yeah, right. Who DOESN'T want to see the Simpsons movie. ... Yep, completely knew. ... Wasn't surprised at all... didn't get me!... you're not buying this are you.
Ok, I was surpised.
It was good to see lots of people. And to all those of you who couldn't make it, let me say two words: Werewolf Good Time! We played the Werewolf Card game most of the night after beating each other with
foamy swords most of the afternoon, playing Guitar Hero 80's ed. and grilling.
The
foamy swords was lots of fun thanks to Ben Bear and him owning pretty much every weapon made. Mel and Matt take it way to seriously by pounding the CRAP out of you. And the Rothman kids are scary good! They use tatics, surrounding the enemy and taking out their legs before thomping them in the gut. What is Ben teaching them! They're like 2 1/2 foot tall ninjas! I'll try to post some pics later.
It was a blast (and not just because of the 99 bottles of beer we drank). Yes 99. I counted the empty containers. So thanks to all that showed and to all that didn't... you missed Werewolf Mangling Goodness and that's your loss.
