So, um, yeah.
I'm apparently doing
NaNoWriMo this year.
For those that aren't familiar with this particular brand of crazy, it's more commonly known as National Novel Writing Month. Oh, spend a month to work on that novel that I always say I'm writing? Well, not exactly. The idea behind NaNoWriMo is to write an entire novel (~50,000 words) from scratch in one month.
Yes, you read that correctly. 30 Days to write an entire 50,000 word novel from scratch.
Thankfully, they never said it had to be a good novel.
The good news is that I do have a premise (the same one I've been talking about for a couple of months now), and I have a vague idea of where the story is going to go. I do not, however, have a title. Hopefully, a title will make itself clear at some point early on in the story.
If you would like to track my progress, plus read excerpts from what will possibly be the one of the worst novels in history, and see my word count, you can look me up under my user name Eilanora at the NaNoWriMo site, or just follow this
link.
I'll try and update as I can on here too, so if you can please leave some encouragement. I'm totally going to need it.
P.S. If you are doing NaNoWriMo too, please friend me! I need friends! :o)
