Again, to start off, this muse is a Hetalia/Soul Eater crossover AU version of France. That being said, of course, he's human, and his name isn't France. His birth-name is obviously Francis, but shortly after arriving at Shibusen, he changed his name to the pseudonym Big Brother, despite being only 13. Of course, due to this fact, he's still called by his birth-name fairly often.
Francis was orphaned at a young age, and as a result, he mostly grew up in foster homes. Though he was born an only child, growing up around so many other children, he often declared himself big brother to the one's that were younger than him, and he did his best to take care of them. He watched sadly as they were adopted and found loving parents, but Francis continued to grow older and less wanted, and the constant abandonment by everyone around him served to feed the small amount of madness that resides in every human.
He discovered that he was a weapon when he was 12, and quickly enrolled at Shibusen. He soon paired up with the, at the time, 10-year-old Arthur Kirkland, which lasted approximately four years, exact number still under consideration.
Being a gourmet, Francis often suffered from stomach pains after eating the souls of those killed by Arthur and himself, due to the fact that Arthur somehow managed to burn all of them. In the beginning, Francis tolerated this only because he thought it was how souls were supposed to taste, and he suffered through. He did eventually discover that they were, normally, quite delicious, though, and as a result, it meant him cracking the whip on trying to teach Arthur to cook, although, despite his best efforts, the taste of the souls slain with Arthur never improved.
By the time he was 17 (Math note for self reference: his birthday is 7/14, so while he was 12 when he started his first year, he was 13 by the end of it. Thus, by the end of his fourth year, he was 17, rather than 16), he and Arthur were fighting nigh constantly. Their synchronization rate dropped so low that he was beginning to cause harm to his meister, and though Arthur hid it, eventually visible damage was being done to his body. France began to consider himself useless, and the fact that he could no longer match wavelengths properly with his meister was causing considerable emotional trauma that began to make the till then dormant madness rise. He was plagued with hallucinations of Arthur leaving him for reasons of being a useless weapon, unwieldable, unable to protect him, etc. Unable to stand the thought of being abandoned by someone he loved, he, for once, took the initiative and was the one to leave. Though Francis stayed until the day that the new meisters and weapons would arrive at the academy -- so he knew that Arthur would be able to find a replacement weapon -- he disappeared, leaving only a note on his pillow that Arthur would find that morning.
Francis spent a good deal of his time away traveling Europe, at first, and paired with a few other meisters here and there. Ultimately, he decided it was best for him and everyone else to just work solo. Although, being the kind of person that needs people to be happy, he decided to settle into an actual job, and joined the
National Gendarmerie. His prestige of being a weapon from Shibusen helped him gain rank, and he was able to use his skills to help others and give back to his country. Still, he didn't get very much satisfaction from his job.
Three years later, he finally returned to Death City, wanting to check up on Arthur and how he was coping, as well as meet the weapon that replaced him, to make sure that he met to France' standards. Though not fond of the weapon himself, he was satisfied with his strength, and even impressed with how well they worked together. Francis had intended to go back to France after his visit, however, he realized he would be unable to leave Arthur a second time. So he quit his job, and moved back to Death City, where he took a job as a teacher.
His classes mostly consist of lessons about using instinct and emotion as much as logic in a fight, and how to increase synchronization rate by means of ways to better the relationship between weapon and meister. Of course, he's often chastised for his lessons that declare that physical love should be a regular part of said relationship. Because of his perceptive and intuitive nature, though, and his general sensitivity when it comes to serious topics and situations, he also takes on a role of counseling students with their troubles.
Random NSFW note: while most of my France muses almost never bottom and prefer to be on top because they like to be in control, this version actually rather enjoys being on the bottom for the same reason, though most people that know what he is won't let him. Considering that he can turn any part of his body into a guillotine at any time, penetrating him is a bit like laying one's head in a headlock and trusting that the executioner doesn't release the blade. This gives Francis an enormous amount of control as a "bottom." And this concludes the NSFW.
