Everything grows and grows. The path on the east side of the house was totally obliterated by sedum, bugle weed and euonomys. For the last few days I've been trimming back the green carpet to reveal the path.
Not done yet, but found the green man had fallen and the dragon was displaced.
The ferns have loved the moist weather and I am delighted to have uncovered the Japanese fern and she looks great. I have had trouble in the past keeping them alive.
I had an excellent assistant.
On the west side work continues ( or will when temps drop again) on clearing the area for the mythical hottub. No matter what happens in the space, I am enjoying the openness. I was beginning to feel as if I live in a green cave.
