Friends coming for lunch today, no doubt will have more to say about that later. Just very happy that the 3 of us are getting together regularly again. Had been nearly 15 years since we had done that, we drifted apart. One got a job and had a couple more kids. We only saw each other on mostly tragic occasions and then last Halloween I called them

It's great to reconnect with friends. It's the thing I miss the most about the old college days. You could always find someone to just hang out with . Three friends and I used to play cards weekly. Then one of them moved to Texas and it stopped. I miss it. Luckily she comes up occasionally and when she does we definitely plan a night to get together. It's hard in real life when your friends don't live close by.

Yes it's been great for sure. None of us are "spring chickens" so now is the time I think as we may need each other more as time goes by. It is hard not to have good friends close by..hugs
