Last night I got to tick another item off my list of "bands to see before I die", which was good. Radiohead were actually much better than I expected, because I wasn't expecting to get many of "the hits" and they rolled out a couple of songs from The Bends as well as 4 from OK Computer - even the newer songs were mostly ones I knew. It was really atmospheric with the sun setting in Victoria Park and loads of people singing along, and the band really know how to put a good set together, as they should after this long I suppose. I still can't believe I'd never got round to seeing them before - it was definitely a good wedding present from Dom's work mates. The journey home afterwards was less fun, involving 2 hours worth of floundering around in a sea of people, queuing outside various tube stations and finally making a break for the DLR. Definitely a good night though.
